Artist in Residence "BankART AIR 2019 again"

10月28日から12月23日まで横浜のBankART StationにてArtist in Residenceに参加します。
約2ヶ月間、BankART Stationの広いスタジオをお借りして新作の制作をします。
週末には関連プログラムとしてアーティストトークが開催されます。佐藤は12月7日(土) 19:00より登壇します。
トークではこれまでの作品や展示についてお話しさせて頂く予定です。ぜひお越し下さい。
また、12月13日(金)から12月21日(土)までBankART StationとR16スタジオ共催のOPEN STUDIOも開催されます。期間中はご自由にご入場頂けますのでお気軽にお越し頂けましたら幸いです。

From 28 October to 23 December, I will participate in Artist in Residence at BankART Station in Yokohama.
For approximately two months, the artists will borrow the spacious studios of BankART Station to create new works.
Artist talks will be held on weekends as a related programme. Sato will be speaking on Saturday 7 December from 19:00.
During the talk he will talk about his past works and the exhibition. Please come along.
From 13 (Fri) to 21 (Sat) December, BankART Station and R16 Studio will co-host an OPEN STUDIO. During this period, you are free to enter, so please feel free to come and visit.

SETOUCHI ART BOOK FAIR 2019は瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019秋会期のイベントのひとつです。
佐藤はArt Byte Critique groupの作家さんと一緒に参加し、アーティストブックや手製本の写真集、zineなどを展示販売します。
会場は高松城跡玉藻公園内の披雲閣で、国重要文化財指定されている、建築物としても一見の価値ある会場です。
会期中はトークイベントなども沢山行われるとのことですので、ぜひ瀬戸内国際芸術祭と合わせてご来場頂ければと

SETOUCHI ART BOOK FAIR 2019 is one of the events of the Setouchi International Art Festival 2019 autumn session.
Sato will participate with artists from the Art Byte Critique group, exhibiting and selling artist books, hand-bound photo books and zines.
The venue is Hounkaku in Tamamo Park in the ruins of Takamatsu Castle, which is designated as a national important cultural property and is also a venue that is worth seeing as an architectural feature.
There will also be a number of talk events during the Triennale, so we hope you will visit the exhibition in conjunction with the Setouchi International Art Festival.

From 10 (Wed) to 14 (Sun) Jan, the SMF Treasure Ship Exhibition 2018@MOMAS will be held at the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama. The exhibition is co-organised by SMF (Saitama Muse Forum) and the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama.
Sato will exhibit a reconstructed version of a work presented at last year's Nakanojo Biennale 2017.
A symposium and gallery talk will be held at the same venue during the exhibition period, so we hope you will come along.

中之条ビエンナーレ2017 / Nakanojo Biennale 2017

9月9日(土)より10月9日(月祝)まで群馬県中之条町で開催されている「中之条ビエンナーレ2017」に出品しています。
展示作品は、これまでとは異なるアプローチで制作したもので、ルーツの異なる日用品と部屋との関係性を視覚化し、再構成した内容になっています。
展示では、写真の他に立体作品や映像作品など複数のメディアを使用し、廃校になった小学校の大会議室という広い空間の中で、知覚とイメージそして物との繋がりによるインスタレーションを展開しています。
会期中は様々なワークショップやイベントが開催されています。佐藤も9月18日(月祝)にアーティストトークに参加します。アーティストトークでは、これまでの制作や作品についてお話させて頂きたいと思っています。

The work is being exhibited at the Nakanojo Biennale 2017, which is being held in Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture, from 9 Sep (Sat) to 9 Oct (Mon).
The work on display is a different approach to her previous works, visualising and reconstructing the relationship between everyday objects with different roots and the room they are in.
The exhibition uses multiple media, including photographs, sculptures and video works, to create an installation that connects perception, image and objects in the large meeting room of a disused primary school.
Various workshops and events are held during the Triennial. Sato will also participate in an artist talk on 18 Sep (Mon). At the artist talk, I would like to talk about my past productions and works.
